With this release, we are proud to announce that Assemble has expanded support for Unicode characters for property names and values! Effectively, we now support expanded characters from most of the speaking languages in the world. Assemble customers can now:
- Use expanded characters in Assemble Property names and values. Use expanded characters in Model Property names and values.
- Publish Model Property names and values with expanded characters from desktop tools.
- Publish Model Property names and values with expanded characters from BIM 360 and Autodesk Docs
- Sync Model property values with expanded characters back to Revit, enabling a round trip workflow.
Note: Support for expanded characters in Category names will be a future improvement.
In a fast follow improvement to our Cloud Publishing workflow, Assemble now supports the import of Revit Cloud Workshare models from BIM 360 and Autodesk Docs to Assemble.
Important Note: We have new Assemble publisher add-in for Revit available to download on our website. We highly recommend that you upgrade the add-in to take advantage of all the enhancements. Latest Revit Publisher Add-in can be downloaded here. We do recommend uninstalling the old add-in before installing the latest version. New add-ins are also available for Class Editor, Excel and Schedule Integrator.
