Assemble Systems recently updated our add-in to support Autodesk Revit 2016, AutoCad Architecture 2016 and AutoCad MEP 2016. For all the Autodesk early adopters, you can now publish and sync to Revit 2016 models!
Autodesk Revit continues to be a widely used software across the AEC (architecture, engineering, construction) industry, however there are some product limitations. Assemble provides additional insight and features that can be used in conjunction with Autodesk Revit 2016 to further enhance the data and functionality. By using Assemble, construction management companies can view models over any web-browser, estimate costs, attach or schedule activities to model elements and better manage projects.
The Assemble add-in allows users to upload models directly to Assemble’s project website. Assemble then tracks any changes made to the model for team members to view. Assemble also identifies all geometric properties and parameters within the model and lists that data (materials, types, quantities, dimensions) providing users with better project costing and overall analysis. Overall, users can benefit from Assemble’s ability to easily audit a 3D model and incorporate data-rich information into their workflows.
With our release of 2016 support, Assemble Systems is also announcing the end of support for Autodesk 2012 products. Please contact Assemble technical support if you have any questions or concerns.
The new add-in will support Revit versions 2013-2016 so don’t hesitate to update your publisher now. To update your add-in, click here to download and install.
