Using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software in the field, construction teams can drastically improve project controls, construction quality, team collaboration and work processes. In this webinar, we share how Assemble Systems’ new Mobile Solution is paving the way for companies to be more efficient to deliver better project results. We conduct a live demo of the latest functionalities in Assemble Mobile including the ability to track materials through BarCodes/RFIDs, and the means to condition the data to properly leverage the “I” in BIM for downstream activities. Assemble’s iPad platform provides an Immersive Virtual Environment with a straightforward, easy to use interface, Assemble’s Viewpoint Motion Control technology allows for simple, yet smooth navigation with complex 3D models.
Our panel of experts weigh in on importance of bringing BIM to the field and other key elements that is driving BIM adoption in the industry. Join Raul Gomez, Executive Director of VDC at Robins & Morton, James Hattori, BIM/VDC Coordinator at RagingWire, and Riley Herman, Product Manager at Procore as they share their expertise on how to fully realize the benefits of BIM in the office and the field.
Speakers Include:
Raul Gomez leads a team of VDC leaders and technology champions, Integrating Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) methods through the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) at Robins & Morton. Raul’s main objectives are to use model based estimating, construction information through tools such as Assemble Systems to enhance and streamline construction communications, scope visualization, quantity take-off, facilitating coordination and establishing collaboration between designers, and subcontractors, and owners.
James Hattori, currently the BIM/VDC Coordinator at RagingWire Data Centers assisting in the virtual design and construction of their fault tolerant, high density, sustainable and 100% available multiple mission critical facilities in multiple locations for the ICT(Information and Communications Technology) industry. Previous experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) industry for the design and construction of commercial, residential, educational, retail and institutional projects. James is an advocate in the technology and communication arts by helping to provide innovative integrated solutions and creative support for production and development possibilities.
Riley Herman is a Product Manager at Procore, overseeing the Plan Management features, specifically Procore’s Drawings and Specifications tools. Riley has a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University. Prior to Product Management, Riley has worked with several Architects, and shares interest in Sustainable Design with his family members, who range from General Contractors to Landscape Architects.
Tim Kelly is the Product Manager at Assemble Systems, responsible for working closely with customers to develop the product strategy and roadmap. Tim has a wealth of experience within the construction industry, having spent the last 7 years innovating with BIM in design and construction from the general contractor and construction management perspective. Tim earned his BS in Construction Science from Texas A&M University and prior to joining Assemble Systems served as BIM Manager at Satterfield & Pontikes Construction.
