Properties Manager Facilitates BIM Data Exchange
Houston, TX—March 03, 2014—Assemble Systems, the leading provider of BIM data management solutions, announced today the release of Properties Manager, a highly anticipated product enhancement.
With the release of Properties Manager, Assemble continues to enhance its web-based data exchange and collaboration solution to help customers optimize the return on their BIM investment.
Properties Manager enables Assemble users to add, modify and exchange data between an Autodesk Revit model and the Assemble database, allowing more project team members to contribute to improving the quality and value of the Building Information Model. With Properties Manager, project team members can add and modify information in the model without the required investment in software or training associated with design tools. The new workflow enabled by Assemble also facilitates the exchange of unlimited custom parameters, providing an easy way to integrate cost, schedule, assembly codes or other critical information into BIM across the project lifecycle.
“We’re very excited to get the new Properties Manager and Revit Sync improvements in our customers’ hands,” said Trent Miskelly, VP of Product Development at Assemble Systems. “These are two of the most requested enhancements to Assemble and they uniquely enable our customers to invest in their models with confidence. These new features open up powerful new workflows for AEC teams that will provide significant time savings and allow for much smoother collaboration.”
“This is a huge step in the direction we are headed and it greatly helps improve our current model-based workflow in Preconstruction. In the past, we’d have difficultly re-entering data with every model revision from our design teams, now our work has taken a step to become more integrated,” said Aaron Wright, VDC Director at Hoar Construction. “We are excited to work with Assemble’s Properties Manager because it will improve project delivery by addressing this limitation and bridging the gap between Autodesk Revit and Trimble Vico Office.”
