Companies Continue to Benefit from Instant Access to BIM Data for AEC Workflows with Assemble
Houston, TX July 17, 2014 – Assemble Systems, the leading provider of cloud-based building information management solutions, announced its sixth consecutive quarter of record growth.
During the first six months of 2014, year over year revenue increased by over 240%. Further, Assemble tripled the number of new clients acquired over first quarter results. With the close of the second quarter, Assemble is looking to the second half of 2014 to further accelerate the number of global design and construction firms deploying Assemble on their construction projects. Customer wins during the quarter include: Jacobs Engineering, Walbridge, Shawmut Design and Construction, Okland Construction, and Renzo Piano Building Workshop. As of the end of the second quarter, more than 1,400 construction projects and thousands of building information models had been uploaded to the Assemble cloud solution.
“We work closely with our customers to learn more about their business so that we can deliver technology solutions that directly address workflow issues and lead to improved project outcomes,” said Howard Davis, CEO, Assemble Systems.
Throughout 2014 Assemble has continued developing product enhancements that strengthen its leadership position in delivering the most comprehensive cloud-based solution for model-based take-off, design review, change management, conceptual estimating, and project controls.
Most recently, Assemble released an expanded version of its already popular Excel Import/Export feature. With these enhancements, Assemble provides the power to manage, add, or modify large amounts of BIM data, quickly and accurately. Additionally, in 2014 Assemble released Properties Manager enabling Assemble clients to easily exchange instance-level data between an Autodesk Revit model and the Assemble database. With Properties Manager, more project team members will be able to contribute to improving the quality and value of BIM deliverables. These latest features, in addition to simplifying model quality assurance and accuracy, expedite scheduling and estimating by enabling customers to access and condition models with custom coding schemes, and populate these codes from model iteration to iteration, resulting in greater accuracy and efficiency.
