Assemble Webinar: Reducing Change Order Chaos

Do you think Building Information Models (BIM) are just to impress the Owner during a presentation? Join this webinar to see how leading commercial contractor, Balfour Beatty Construction is utilizing Assemble to manage design iterations and efficiently update cost estimates. This helps to eliminate budget surprises that can wreak havoc on project costs, timeline or profitability.

Project Solutions Manager, Buck Davis shares project data that explains how Balfour Beatty manages change orders to deliver projects on time while maximizing the project profitability for Balfour. The key to success is quickly finding and quantifying changes between model versions. The estimating and VDC department at Balfour Beatty can quickly document the impact of design changes and account for it in their estimates as the design evolves.

Its as easy as 1-2-3 to learn how Assemble allows Balfour Beatty to:

  1. Easily calculate and condition model quantities on federated project data.
  2. Quickly group, sort, and filter to create packages for Estimating and Subcontractors use.
  3. Compare and visualize updated design information to find where designs and quantities have changed and generate data to justify or deny change order requests.
